This trainer is designed to measure the sequence Impedance Positive, Negative & Zero of an Alternator set-up. This trainer consists of the following equipments.

1 No of 5HP DC Shunt Motor (The above motor and alternator coupled with base plate)
1 No. of 3 point Starter for DC motor Armature
1 No. of Field supply unit for DC motor field
1 No. of 1 Φ Auto transformer (1KVA)
1 No of 0-300V AC voltmeter
1 No. of 0-600V AC voltmeter (For Field of alternator)
1 No. of 0-5A AC Ammeter (For Field of alternator)
1 No. of 1 Φ LPF Wattmeter (5A, 300V)
1 No. of Digital Tachometer

Measurement of positive sequence Impedance (Reactance) Xd” abd Xq” of Alternator.
Measurement of Negative Sequence Impedance (Reactance) X2 of Alternator.
Measurement of Zero sequence Impedance (Reactance) X0 of an alternator.
