Step down and step up MOSFET based choppers

This trainer is designed to study the working principle of  DC-DC Step up & step down Chopper using MOSFET. It consists of

  1. Chopper PWM Controller
  2. MOSFET Power Circuit
  3. DC Source & Load.
  • Separate power circuit section for Buck converter & Boost converter
  • One number of IC (TL494) based Variable Frequency & Variable Dutycycle Ratio PWM Controller
  • One number of potentiometer is provided for PWM Dutycycle variation ( 0-90%)
  • One number of OPTO is provided for PWM isolation
  • IR2110 IC Based MOSFER driver is provided for pulse amplification
  • Toggle switch is provided for PWM ON/OFF
  • PWM Output is terminated by connectors for power circuit external connection
  • IRF250 MOSFET with necessary heat sink is provided for power circuit
  • One number of 100E/20W Power Resistor is provided as load
  • 24vdc is provided with Fuse protection is provided for power circuit input
  • ON/OFF Switch is provided for Power circuit (24v dc) input voltage
  • All are mounted on a nice cabinet with power ON/OFF Switch
