MATLAB Based Temperature and Level Control Loop

The model is especially designed to understand the working of Level and Temperature control loop. It consisting of Level Transmitter, Control Valve, Electro Pneumatic Converter, SS process tank with Heater & Hand Valves, Pressure Gauges, DAQ, etc.,

  • Capacitance reactance based level transmitter to sense the level up to 300mm.
  • Highly Sensitive Electro Pneumatic Converter to control the control valve of

      [Input: (4-20) mA, Output: (0.2-1) Bar].

  • Industrial type Control Valve (Equal %) to regulate the flow rate of water.
  • SCR Based Intelligent Power Driver unit with protection features provided.
  • RTD sensor with Temperature Transmitter with Power Supply [Output (4-20)mA].
  • SS process tank (5 Liter) with graduated level indicator.
  • Corrosion Resistance storage tank (SS 304) with pump.
  • Air Regulator cum filter (0-36) Psi is provided to regulate the Air pressure.
  • Pressure Gauges (2 Bar) are mounted in Panel wherever necessary (Type: C/ Diaphragm).
  • Hand valves are disturbance study.
  • Multicolored test points to be provided to measure the CV and PV current.
  • Air lines are guided by Nylon Tubes with one touch fittings.
  • All components are mounted in a metallic powder coated frame.
